Located just three miles south of Disneyland, St. Catherine’s Academy (SCA), an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition, will be opening its doors to host families interested in touring its beautiful campus on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments, giveaways and a warm welcome will be offered to all participants. In addition, families who attend will receive a $300 voucher that they can use toward their tuition fee.

SCA, known as a “Hidden Gem,” has been serving elementary and middle school-aged students for nearly 130 years. The Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose and their lay partners founded SCA in 1889. As the only school of its type in the entire United States, SCA has attracted students from across the globe offering a unique junior boarding program. Families can choose from typical day classes to five-day or seven-day programs. The Open House will be a perfect opportunity to capture so many unique elements of the academy.

The key facets of SCA are solid Catholic/Christian values, a challenging academic program and its one-of-a-kind military tradition.

Parents will be encouraged to ask questions and will be invited to hear real testimonies from current families and past families. A tour led by student ambassadors will walk families through the school’s classrooms, music departments, infirmary, gymnasium, state-of-the-art pool, dormitories and more.

Teachers, administration staff, and military personnel will be present.
