St. Catherine’s Academy, an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition located in the heart of Anaheim, celebrated Grandparents’ Day on Friday, October 4. More than 100 grandparents joined their grandsons on this special day.
The annual tradition at St. Catherine’s Academy recognized grandparents for their love, guidance and the impact they have on the well-being of their grandchildren. The day started with students offering a warm welcome, followed by a special mass dedicated to grandparents and shared a delicious lunch together. All around the room there was a smile on everyone’s face. This event was memorable for many and will be cherished forever. Students and families of St. Catherine’s Academy look forward to this special event each year.
“We are so excited that we had the chance to honor and welcome grandparents and thank them for all that they do for their grandsons to help shape them to become the fine young men,” said Sister Johnellen, OP, President/Administrator of St. Catherine’s Academy. “We know they are such an important part of their lives, and the love of a grandparent is truly unconditional.”
