As of July 1, an affiliate of Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, ATM, LLC, will become fully responsible for the management and operations of the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) through 2048 with the option of five, five-year extensions. This management arrangement is part of a multi-faceted agreement that was approved by the Anaheim City Council in November of 2018.

The iconic 67,000-square-foot transportation center opened in December 2014 and ATCM is projecting a $750,000 improvement to the first-year’s bottom line through staffing and operating efficiencies. In the coming months, the management group will target advertising and additional potential revenue streams. The city is now relieved of the transportation center’s operational costs, including a $2.5 million deficit, and ATCM is now responsible for all of the facility’s revenue and expenses.

“We are excited to take on the management of ARTIC,” said Jason Davis, General Manager of ARTIC. “With Honda Center’s proximity to the facility, it makes sense for our organization in the long-term to oversee management, and we are also thrilled to have helped free up funding for much-needed community resources.”

The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, better known as ARTIC, provides rail, bus, taxi and other services for daily commuters, visitors and leisure travelers. It serves as a train station for Amtrak intercity rail and Metrolink commuter rail, as well as a bus station used by the Orange County Transportation Authority, Anaheim Resort Transportation, Greyhound, Megabus, and Tres Estrellas de Oro.
