The NAMM convention took place at the Anaheim Convention Center last weekend, drawing 110,000 people to the city. But before that came the NAMM Foundation Day of Service last Tuesday. This is the way NAMM kicks off every year, giving NAMM members the chance to support music education for the Anaheim Elementary School District. The Day of Service took place at Horace Mann Elementary and included an address from the mayor, student musical performances and a $10,000 check presented to the district from the NAMM Foundation.
