Monster Jam fans in Orange County will get their share of rip-roaring, high-octane, revved-up fun when Monster Jam trucks crush through Angel Stadium for a record-setting six action-packed days. The fun began Jan. 12 and continues Feb. 2, 9, 10, 23 and 24, marking Anaheim as the city withe most stadium events ever in the history of Monster Jam!
Making its debut appearance at Angel Stadium on Jan. 12 was the new Monster Jam truck, Bakugan Dragonoid, driven by 22-year-old Monster Jam truck driver Camden Murphy.
Before the event, Murphy said, “I’m excited to perform at Anaheim Stadium for the first time and unveil the brand new Spinmaster Bakugan Dragonoid. Bakugan Dragonoid is based off a popular TV show. The design is really awesome. It includes a horn and wings. I can’t wait for fans to see the new Monster Jam truck.”
Murphy and all Monster Jam truck drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have expertly mastered the skills to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing jaw-dropping backflips, vertical two-wheel stunts and more at speeds up to 70 miles per hour.
Featured to appear are some of the iconic trucks such as Grave Digger® and Max-D™, World Finals Champions El Toro Loco®, Son Uva Digger®, Overkill Evolution, Bounty Hunter & Avenger. Making their debut appearances alongside Bakugan Dragonoid were the first-ever diesel powered truck BroDozer (inspired by the popular Discovery Channel TV show “Diesel Brothers”) along with Saigon Shaker, Kraken and Wolf’s Head, plus the newly rebranded Monster Jam Fire & Ice trucks.
Monster Jam is a fun-filled motorsports experience perfect for the entire family. Fans can come to the stadium early to enjoy the Pit Party which includes up close and in-person appearances by some of the favorite trucks and star drivers. Autograph signing and photo opportunities will be available during the Pit Party.
