Anaheim Police Sexual Assault detectives have released a composite sketch of the man they believe assaulted at least three teenage girls over the last couple of weeks near Savanna High School, 301 N Gilbert St. The most recent assault occurred Monday morning, Jan. 14, in the 2300 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
In each of the incidents, the suspect surprised the victims by approaching from behind and grabbing at them, then running from the scene. All of the assaults occurred in the morning while the victims were walking to school.
The suspect is an unshaven Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build, short black hair and a mustache.
The Anaheim Police Department is collaborating with the Anaheim Union High School District to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Police are reminding students and parents to be aware of their surroundings when walking to and from school, and to report suspicious people immediately by calling 9-1-1.
