Anaheim Police arrested a 29-year-old transient last week for commercial burglary and vandalism after he was found inside a local bank attempting to open offices, drawers and a vault.
Around 2 p.m. on Jan. 21, officers responded to Bank of America at 1818 S Euclid St., which was closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. An employee monitoring a live video feed inside the bank notified police that a man was inside. When officers arrived, they discovered the front door of the bank had been forced open. Officers entered the bank and arrested Luis Fernando Bautista without incident.
Before police arrived, several customers came inside the bank because Bautista had left the front door open. All of the customers were able to leave the bank and no one was injured. There were no employees in the bank at the time of the burglary.

Bautista was booked into the Anaheim Detention Facility and his bail was set at $20,000.
