On Sunday, November 17, Anaheim First volunteers participated in Meet on Beach, bringing Anaheim residents together with neighboring cities by creating the historic State Route 39 into a more walkable and bikeable active street for all residents and visitors.
At the Anaheim First pop-up booth, volunteers encouraged residents to provide feedback on important city investments in their neighborhood and share their perspective on city programs through the online survey. This information will supplement input from residents who attended the recent district based Anaheim First Town Hall meetings, community pop-up events held citywide, online survey results and meetings with the city’s community based organizations as part of the Anaheim Community Assessment.
Anaheim First wishes to thank Mayor Harry Sidhu who joined them at their booth, and everyone who volunteered at this multi-city event, helping to get the word out about Anaheim First and the city’s 2030 Neighborhood Improvement Investment Program.

Last chance to take online survey
The City of Anaheim is committed to investing $250 million in city neighborhoods over the next 10 years as part of the 2030 Neighborhood Investment Program proposed by Mayor Harry Sidhu and unanimously adopted by the City Council. If you were not able to attend the recent Town Halls held weekly in each council district from August 28 – October 2, this is your last chance to add your voice to future investments in your neighborhood. Please reach out to friends, family and neighbors to take the online survey and share it with your community based social networks. All residents in Anaheim are encouraged to participate!
The survey includes interactive mapping, community forums, and an idea wall where you will have the opportunity to rank city services, programs, and infrastructure within your respective district. The platform allows for qualitative and quantitative input from residents to develop recommendations for future neighborhood investments. Learn more at AnaheimFirst.org.
