The Annual WonderCon was held over the weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center.

It’s the comic book, science fiction, and motion picture convention where folks can dress up as their favorite personality.

Formerly the WonderCon and Film Convention was held in the San Francisco Bay Area and in the San Diego area too and in recent years, has made its way to Orange County under the name WonderCon Anaheim.

Comic-Con International is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes and dedicated to creating the general public’s awareness and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms, including participation in and support of public presentations, conventions, exhibits, museums and other public outreach activities which celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.

The convention is also an opportunity to get a head start on Halloween by purchasing costumes early. There are always lots of vendor and food booths to shop as well.

Two young ladies enjoy visiting the Anaheim WonderCon over the weekend wearing their favorite personalities’ costumes. They were all smiles at the event.
The unfriendly-looking “Game of Thrones” aficionado is really a disguised beautiful young lady sporting her choice of costumes for the WonderCon at the Anaheim Convention Center.
