Last month, UnitedHealthcare opened its newest Asian Health Benefits Resource Center in Buena Park, which provides enhanced customer service and health education for Asian Americans in Orange County.

Located at 5832 Beach Blvd., Suite 102, the UnitedHealthcare Buena Park Asian Resource Center will serve approximately 45,000 Asian-American Medicare recipients in Orange County. At this customer support center, visitors can meet with customer service professionals to discuss their health benefits in English, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese. California Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers can also visit the resource center to learn about their Medicare coverage options or participate in health and wellness seminars in the community room.

Community leaders joined UnitedHealthcare executives at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new center on March 21.

“At UnitedHealthcare we are dedicated to helping people live healthier lives, and this resource center will help us continue to meet consumer health and wellness needs here in Orange County,” said Christopher Law, national vice president of UnitedHealthcare’s Asian Initiatives. “We look forward to more opportunities to collaborate with community leaders to help improve the health of Medicare beneficiaries and the broader community.”

In addition to Buena Park, UnitedHealthcare has a storefront in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, along with Alhambra Asian Plaza in the San Gabriel Valley.
