Did you catch the Buena Park flair in this year’s Tournament of Roses Parade? On New Year’s Day in Pasadena, amidst the marching bands and ornate floral floats, you had to look closely to find it, but a Knott’s Berry Farm stagecoach was in the parade lineup. And keeping a close eye on it were two Buena Park Police officers who belong to the Orange County Regional Mounted Enforcement Unit. Sergeant Plumlee and Officer Lowe, and their horses Chief and Chinook marched alongside the stagecoach, dressed in old western finery.
