The Coyote boys basketball team was narrowly defeated in the CIF Southern Section quarterfinals this past Tuesday night, bringing their excellent season to a close. They were bested by Yeshiva University of Los Angeles by a score of 62-54.
Principal John Sonje Berg said, “We’re so proud of your season…quarterfinals of CIF is something to be proud of. Class act.” Coach Josh Beaty and his team finished with an overall record of 22-7.
All eyes are now on spring sports, which are just getting started.
At press time, the baseball team was off to a hot start, winning its first two games of the season to the tune of 13-0 and 14-1.
