Also known as Asian or Australian sea bass, barramundi is a premium fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for good health. Sizzler’s new, sustainably raised entrée features barramundi topped with avocado mango salsa or garlic herb butter served over cilantro rice with grilled zucchini planks for only $13.99. “We love the opportunity to give our Sizzler guests something fresh, new, and healthy,” said Kristina Van Bruggen, vice president of Marketing.
“Barramundi is the sweet, buttery fish that even non-fish lovers will love. We think our guests will really enjoy the new items and variety on our menu.”
Another new seafood entrée is Shrimp 3 Ways. Scampi shrimp sautéed in garlic butter and served with linguine share a plate with a shrimp skewer grilled with Sriracha sauce on a bed of cilantro rice and a dozen crispy shrimp for $10.99.
A proven winner with guests, Steak & Shrimp Scampi Linguini for $12.99, rounds out Sizzler’s Signature Seafood Selections promotion. The combo starts with a fresh, six-ounce, cooked-to-order tri-tip sirloin steak and adds six scampi shrimp in linguini, vegetable medley and a baked potato. The latest addition to Sizzler’s health-inspired Salad Bar is an Asian Chopped Salad, containing a flavorful blend of mandarin oranges, julienne carrots, scallions, romaine lettuce and shredded napa and red cabbages with sesame dressing and crispy wonton strips.
Grilled Chicken Avocado Sandwich is new for lunch. A seven-ounce grilled chicken breast is stacked with avocado slices, honey Malibu sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion on a toasted brioche bun. The special includes street fries, pickle slices and a beverage for $9.99.
Sizzler’s Signature Seafood Selections and featured salad are available at participating locations until Sunday, April 24. The lunch sandwich special is available at participating locations which can be found at participating stores.
