Celebrate National Arts & Education Week (Sept. 9-15) at Beckman Arts & Science Family Festival presented in collaboration with the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation on Saturday, Sept. 15. Bring the whole family along for free entertainment, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities featuring: Doktor Kaboom!, Dino Encounters, Discovery Cube of Orange County, The MoonRays and many more. And have your photo taken with PBS SoCal’s Ready Jet Go!
On Sept. 29, dance the night away with local band Undecided Future as they perform live on the Argyros Stage. Having shared the stage with Jason Derulo and taken notes from superstars such as Justin Timberlake, Jason Derulo, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, James Brown and 98 Degrees, Undecided Future is now front and center and impacting audiences with their unique vocals, dance moves and upbeat vibe.
El Grito—A Celebration of Mexican Independence

¡Oye! Celebrate Mexican Independence with Latin film and television star Blanca Araceli. Discover Mexico’s cultural heritage and enjoy live performances from Mariachi Infantil R.H.Y.T.M.O, Relámpago del Cielo, Mauro Calderón and many more. El Grito ceremony will be presided by Consul of Mexico in Orange County Mario Cuevas-Zamora. Presented in collaboration with the Consulate of Mexico.
In support of Operation Interdependence, Segerstrom Center will be collecting items for military care packages, which will be assembled during the annual Salute Our Veterans event on the Argyros Plaza. Items needed for care packages include: travel lotion, travel shampoo, tissue packs, granola bars and lip balm.
Beckman Arts & Science Family Festival

Arts + Science=Family Fun at the first Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival coming to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Come for free entertainment and hands-on activities for the curious of all ages. Explore 21st century learning and join the next generation of innovators as families come together to create, innovate and explore the connections between science and the arts. The day will be filled with engaging performances, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities featuring Discovery Cube of Orange County, Doktor Kaboom!, Phantom Projects Theatre Group, Dino Encounters, The MoonRays and many more.
