Savanna fell in its second varsity football game of the season on August 29, to Rancho Alamitos, by a score of 30-24. The two teams were evenly matched, and though they hoped for a different outcome, Savanna had some impressive individual performances. The Rebels will play next on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. vs. Lynwood. The August 29 game was played at the new-and-improved Bolsa Grande Stadium, which was the beneficiary of an extreme makeover over the summer.
