Thousands of runners and walkers braved the early morning cold weather on Sunday, Dec. 14 to come out and participate in the first annual Santa Hustle Buena Park 5k and Half Marathon  at Knott’s Berry Farm. The event was sponsored in large part by Giving Children Hope (GCHope), a nonprofit organization in Buena Park. GCHope also held a toy drive as part of its way of benefiting homeless children with holiday gifts. All those participating received a Santa hat, beard and sweatshirt. Individuals running or walking in the marathon phase of the event also came away with a medal.
