The leaves are turning colors and starting to fall from the trees. The signs of autumn are all around us. In celebration of the season, the Saint Pius V Church community held their annual fall festival on this past weekend Sept. 19, 20 and 21. Carnival rides came alive with giggling riders, the aroma of delicious foods will float through the air, exciting games will challenge even the not-so -able athlete and entertainment brought smiles to the young and old alike. What a wonderful way to welcome in the change of seasons. Classic songs by Paul Cavin on Saturday were featured. The Christian band, “Public Rocks”also rocked the house. Rides for all ages filled the front parking area of the church. The Saint Pius V Fall Festival offers good wholesome family fun for what could have been just another weekend in Buena Park.
