The festivities will conclude with the induction of a KISS album in the new Buena Park Rock & Roll Walk of Fame outside the restaurant. The initial 60 albums to be featured in the Walk of Fame were selected by public vote. The induction, which is open to the public, will take place at 6 p.m.
“We are very excited to expand our Southern California presence with the opening of Rock & Brews in Buena Park,” said Stanley. “We look forward to honoring the brave men and women who serve and who have served our country and the local Buena Park community.”
While the luncheon is a private event, the reception hosted by Simmons and Stanley is open to the public. Tickets to the reception are $100 and include two adult beverages or soft drinks per person, a tasting of Rock & Brews cuisine, a chance to mingle with Simmons and Stanley, and a rockin’ good time.
A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening reception will benefit the Buena Park Veterans of Foreign Wars post. Guests may purchase tickets by visitingwww.rockandbrewsbp.eventbrite.com. Space is limited.
Rock & Brews Buena Park will officially open to the public Labor Day weekend, allowing guests the chance to get familiar with the restaurant prior to the Grand Opening celebration. The opening marks the second Rock & Brews location for local multi-unit franchise partner Jon Mesko, who also owns Rock & Brews Redondo Beach.
“Rock & Brews is a great place for the whole family with its energetic rock and roll-inspired atmosphere, excellent American comfort food and over-the-top selection of international and craft beers,” said Mesko. “I am proud to bring Rock & Brews to Buena Park, and cannot wait for the local community to experience it firsthand.”
The new Rock & Brews Buena Park will be the largest Rock & Brews location to date, with seating for up to 399 guests. The restaurant will feature the brand’s signature casual American cuisine, a full bar that includes a broad selection of premium wines and international and craft beers, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a family-friendly concert environment, featuring concert lighting, multiple televisions and concert-style rock music.
Guests can dine indoors or al fresco on the dog-friendly patios, which also feature lounge areas with fire features, a play area for children and a professional beach volleyball court.
Stanley and Simmons, along with their co-founding partners, restaurateur and hotelier Michael Zislis and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano, are thoughtfully planning for worldwide expansion of the brand. Rock & Brews Buena Parkwill join the brand’s growing roster of restaurants that include four other Los Angeles area locations (El Segundo, Redondo Beach, LAX Terminal 5, and StubHub Center in Carson); a restaurant in Paia on Maui; one in Overland Park, Kansas; a location in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and one in Oviedo, Florida, as well as two international locations in Los Cabos, Mexico.
