Officer Brice served as a reserve officer, after having served in the military and with other area police departments.

Reserve Officer Art Brice of the Buena Park Police Department was killed in an off-duty traffic accident a few weeks ago when he made his way home after a shift. Events were held the weekend of October 18 to celebrate his life.

Many came out to express support as the police processional made its way through the Riverside area.
Officer Brice will be missed by many.
Via Facebook, BPPD thanked the police departments of Cypress, La Habra, Fullerton and La Palma for “watching over the city and allowing our personnel to attend Officer Brice’s funeral.”
