Buena Park Coordinating Council Representative Michael Davis and long-time Director Concha De Lacruze presented the Buena Park Noon Lions Club with a $15,000 check from the Coordinating Council during the club’s monthly meeting at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. The money will be placed in the club’s 501(c)3 Foundation account, with only the interest from the donation being used for charity. “We are appreciative beyond words, yet sad that the Council had to disband because they lost their building location on Whitaker Street,” said Club President Pat Donnelly. “The work the Coordinating Council did over the many years of feeding the hungry in our city has been a jewel in the crown of Buena Park.” Pictured from left are Michael Davis and Pat Donnelly.
