North Orange County Chamber (NOCC), in partnership with the United States Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate’s forum for those seeking to represent the 39th District in Congress on Thursday, March 29 rom 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fullerton Community Center. Rick Reiff, Editor at Large for the Orange County Business Journal, will moderate the forum.
“This forum provides the business community an opportunity to address questions relating to issues currently being discussed in Congress including Free Trade, foreign policy, budget, and immigration,” explained Theresa Harvey, Chamber President & CEO. “It’s important that voters make informed decisions,” she continued, “and this forum provides an opportunity to meet candidates and learn more about those who would like to represent them in Congress.”
Reiff has been with the Orange County Business Journal since 1990, serving as editor, executive editor, and currently editor at large. He wrote the paper’s popular OC Insider column for 15 years. He is the co-host of the weekly program “Studio SoCal” on PBS SoCal-TV. He previously was a staff writer for Forbes magazine. Reiff was the lead reporter on a team at the Akron Beacon Journal that won a 1987 Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Goodyear-James Goldsmith takeover battle.
