Ramen & Tsukemen TAO, near the corner of Valley View and Cerritos, celebrated its grand opening Tuesday, September 3. Highly-regarded chef Toshimasa Sano was trained for ten years in the art of ramen in Tokyo before moving to the United States and opening a restaurant in Los Angeles, and now this one in Buena Park. The restaurant was a bustling place on opening day, as 100 free bowls of ramen were given away to followers of the restaurant’s Instagram page. Ramen & Tsukemen TAO is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
