Adrienne Lamar Snider to bring experience and optimism to organization
The Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center in Anaheim announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Adrienne Lamar Snider as the new Executive Director of Operations for the non-profit organization.
Lamar Snider will become the organization’s top leader and will report directly to the 21-member Board of Directors. The current Executive Director, Scott Trotter, will transition to the newly created role of Executive Director of Community Advancement, to focus on increasing awareness of the Prevention Center’s Programs, along with cultivating relationships with supporters, donors, and volunteers. The two new Executive Director positions, effective April 1, will allow the growing agency to provide greater attention on program and operational quality for the families they serve, while expanding community awareness and involvement to further the cause of the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
Throughout her career, Lamar Snider has worked to advance social justice and economic empowerment by working with programs to ensure sound fiscal, programmatic, and administrative oversight. She has dedicated her career to family stability, most recently as the Executive Director at Violence Prevention Coalition and as the COO of Jenesse Center, Inc., both in Los Angeles, furthering intervention and prevention for victims of domestic violence. Adrienne holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership Management and a Bachelor of Science in Organization Leadership and Development.
Lamar Snider is a leader who is optimistic by nature. She is a passionate and dedicated advocate for women and girls, and works tirelessly to ensure that their concerns are at the forefront of our political, social, and economic discourse. Her mission as the new leader of the Child Abuse Prevention Center is to provide exceptional stewardship of programs that support families in crisis and that those programs garner the absolute best resources to ensure families and the organization thrive.
