The Buena Park Library District spent all of 2019 celebrating its 100th birthday. It was founded in 1919 and has been a community staple. Library staff decided to close out the year by creating a time capsule. They put memorabilia from 2019, including a commemorative t-shirt, photographs and library cards, into the capsule and installed it under a stairwell inside the library, to be opened in 25 years.
