Katella High School football coach Fred DiPalma was recently named “Chargers Coach of the Week” in Orange County. Each week, the Los Angeles Chargers spotlight a high school football coach in each Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego County. For winning the honor, DiPalma received $1,000 for Katella High’s athletic department, an official Chargers visit to Katella’s home game on August 30, and a check presentation.
