Let’s just dig right in: Chunk-N-Chip, home of the oven-warm, ooey-gooey cookies and farm-fresh ice cream sammich, has created new mouth-watering treats to celebrate the arrival of summer and two hit Broadway shows coming to Segerstrom Center for the Arts: “School of Rock—The Musical” (July 24-Aug. 5) and “On Your Feet!” (Aug. 21-Sept. 2). School of Rocky Road features rich chocolate flavored ice cream densely populated with milk chocolate and chopped almonds with creamy mallow swirls between oven-warm chocolate chip cookies.

For “On Your Feet!”, Chunk-N-Chip has created Conga Cream Delight, inspired by Porto’s Bakery’s classic Cuban pastelito that is a surprising and delightful melange of guava ice cream peppered with chunks of goat cheese between oven-warm snickerdoodle cookies. Both sandwiches will be available through Sept. 2 at the Chunk-N-Chip location in the 4th Street Marked in downtown Santa Ana on the corner of Bush and Fourth. And look for the Chunk-N-Chip food truck at the Center’s July 30 Movie Mondays showing of “The Mask of Zorro” on the Argyros Plaza.

Chunk-N-Chip is a family-owned business that creates childhood memories with unique craft ice cream treats with a delicious twist that will make you beam with joy and put a humongous smile on your face.

Their specialty? The sammich. They are a small-batch business with a soft spot for real simple, yet premium ingredients (locally sourced when possible). No mass production…just old-school craftsmanship and a ton of live. And while they carry the classics, like chocolate chip cookies and vanilla bean ice cream, they pride themselves on fresh, fun and seasonal flavors. Whether it is their couture fashion collection or seasonal inspiration, their flavors create the “wow” in taste buds and leave a lasting impression. Their chefs often prepare custom flavors for catering clients.
