Buena Park-based nonprofit Giving Children Hope converted their warehouse space, which normally prepares meals for 5,000 people a week, into a party venue. To celebrate a brand new logo, the organization invited supporters to a first look of the design last Saturday, Aug. 8. Giving Children Hope received a service grant from Taproot that connected them to a design team who offered their services pro bono for six months to create the logo.

On Saturday, the staff felt the electricity of excitement as supporters shared their joy and excitement for the new look.

Over 20 years ago Giving Children Hope began with the international distribution of medical resources. The previous logo told this story well. However, to create a more sustainable impact their services have grown to include the giving of Basic Needs and Nutritional Foods. The new logo displays these three elements of their mission.

Giving Children Hope’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator Carly Visbal shared her thoughts on the launch.

“We’re excited that this new logo will equip supporters to share our story and to become a voice of hope for the vulnerable children and families we serve across the street and around the world.”
