Five vie for ‘Miss Silverado’ crown

Five young ladies from the Buena Park area are vying for this year’s “Miss Silverado” title, crown and scholarship money. On Sunday, Oct. 4, all contestants met with a panel of judges to be interviewed at the Knott’s Berry Farm Resort Hotel. The Buena Park Noon Lions Club sponsors the Miss Silverado Days Scholarship contest as part of the annual Silverado Days held at William Peak Park, 7225 El Dorado Dr., in Buena Park.

The Buena Park Noon Lions Club sponsors the Miss Silverado Days Scholarship contest as part of the annual Silverado Days held at William Peak Park, 7225 El Dorado Dr., in Buena Park. The winner will be announced during the annual Silverado Days Kick-off at William Peak Park, during a private Lions Club dinner before Silverado Days begins. This year, the Miss Silverado contest is under the direction of Deborah Donnelly, former Miss Buena Park/Miss Silverado 1990.
