Centennial Farm at OC Fair & Event Center will present a unique community experience on Saturday, April 21, with goat yoga, the latest viral sensation that features a traditional yoga class combined with baby pygmy goats that frolic and climb on class participants.
Spectra Yoga of Costa Mesa will offer two beginner level sessions from 10-11:30 a.m. and again from noon-1:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of Centennial Farm’s Millennium Barn. The Fountain Valley Cloverdales 4-H Club will bring cuddly baby pygmy goats to join in on the fun.
For curious non-yoga participants, the experience will provide an opportunity to play and take photos with goats, tour Centennial Farm, pet baby chicks, and watch the fun for free. The two yoga sessions are limited to 50 participants each who must be at least nine years old. The cost is $40 for each class; free to attend and observe. Tickets are available at spectrayoga.com/events.
