On October 14, Buena Park Elks and the Garden Grove Elks sponsored an evening of bingo for 18 veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Medical Center. Elks called the bingo games, served refreshments, and distributed new socks and crossword puzzles to those who wanted them. Pictured are Buena Park Elks members Henry and Diane Day with Navy veteran Harold Smoot. Harold is 92 years young and proudly served his country from 1947-1953.
