The Center Street Promenade was all decked out for Christmas this weekend, and all of downtown will be from here on out, thanks to the big, beautiful Christmas tree that was lit up that night and now adorns the city center.

The city held its 24th Annual Nutcracker Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Village on Dec. 8, featuring a street fair, dance performances, international foods and a Christmas train to drive around the little ones, throughout the day, all leading up to the lighting of the tree in the evening.

Vendors sold crafts that make for unique Christmas gifts, festive music played through the air and when it was all said and done, a 50-foot redwood donated by Disney Resorts was lit at the west end near the Ducks practice facility.
