Brookhurst Junior High School celebrates students’ success

Brookhurst Junior High School celebrates students academic achievements. During first quarter, 620 students earned honor roll status (students earning G.P.A.-grade point averages of 3.0 or higher). There are different levels of distinction-honor roll (3.0-3.49), honor roll with distinction (3.5-4.0), and principal’s list (4.0). Sixty-two students earned a 4.0 G.P.A. To celebrate students’ academic success, administrators and counselors visited seventh period classes and distributed honor roll certificates and called out the names of the recipients.

Students and staff cheered loudly. Mr. Sam Joo, principal, remarked, “I’m so proud of our Brookhurst scholars for their hard work and resilience in earning such awesome grades. It’s the Spartan Way! Go Spartans!!!!”
