The Buena Park High baseball team has won two of its last three Freeway League games. On Wednesday, April 24, the Coyotes topped Sunny Hills with a 2-0 victory at home.
Starting pitcher Isaiah Baca threw a complete game to record the shutout. He would only allow four hits and strike out 12 batters. Baca also got a hit and a key RBI.
Infielder Gabriel Santos, who went 2-for-3, knocked in the other run for the Coyotes (7-14, 2-8). Senior Seong Joon Park also got a pair of hits, which included a double.
