The city of Buena Park and Supervisor Shawn Nelson honored Charles Rees of Tustin for heroic acitons at the Buena Park City Council meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Rees witnessed a fire at 8421 Ridglea in Buena Park on Sunday, Sept. 16. He heroically stopped and pulled a senior citizen and her dog out of the burning home.
Representatives from the Orange County Fire Authority attended to provide insight in addition to recognizing Rees for heroism. OCFA Division Chief Mike Boyle presented him with the Orange County Fire “Certificate for Lifesaving.”
