Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva (Orange County) presents the Buena Park Senior Activity Center with a Resolution in honor of the 25th Annual Super Senior Saturday. The Buena Park Senior Activity Center Super Senior Saturday event attracts baby boomers and seniors throughout the entire Southern California region each year.
“It is important that we all remember that our aging population deserves to enjoy their lives with dignity and respect,” said Assemblymember Quirk-Silva. “I am honored to present this resolution to the Buena Park Senior Center, as their consistent service and commitment to the safety and wellbeing of aging Californians is truly admirable.”
As many gathered at the Buena Park Senior Activity Center to partake in the event, themed “Are You Prepared for an Emergency?”, Assemblymember Quirk-Silva addressed those in the audience to offer her office’s resources. With the growing number of baby boomers entering into retirement, the event captured many active seniors in the community. The event continues to serve all of those in the Southern California area and intends to go on for another 25 years. The Mayor and other elected officials gathered to offer their support of the annual event.
The Buena Park Senior Activity Center continues to offer an impressive array of services for the mature adult population with recreational and educational programs. By offering both Social and Human Services Programs in an environment that promotes a spirit of dignity and limitless potential for later life enrichment, the Center goes beyond the general call of service.
