At the Americana Awards held at the Disneyland Hotel over the weekend, Drs. Cynthia and Thomas Coad were selected as the Anaheim “Citizens of the Year” for 2018. The couple has been married for more than 63 years and said they are most proud of their marriage and seven children who are all college graduates. “We have always been involved in community working together; building leaders of tomorrow by setting an example for our children; we look for solutions for challenges.”
