Two local residents won awards in the King of Cadillacs Car Show held during the 20th annual Elvis Festival held Sunday, August 25 on Historic Main Street in Garden Grove.

They include Rocky Pebley of Anaheim, who won the award for Best Original with his 1959 Gotham Gold Coupe Cadillac. He won a trophy plaque and a $25 gas card presented by Genesis Gonzales, representing Shark Squad Motorcycle Attorneys, sponsor of the Cadillac Show, and Ron O’Brien, an Elvis impersonator.

Ross Stern of Buena Park won the division for Best 1965-1969 with his 1969 Cadillac Eldorado, and also received a trophy plaque and a $25 gas card presented by Theresa Ireland, also representing the show sponsor, and O’Brien.

The King of Cadillacs Car Show featured cars from 1977 and earlier and in honor of one of Elvis Presley’s passions: buying and giving away Cadillacs.

The all-day tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, held annually near the anniversary of his death, also features Elvis tribute artist performances, the Hound Dog Motorcycle Ride, Elvis fan clubs, vendors selling memorabilia and collectibles, food trucks, restaurants and merchants on Main Street, and strolling entertainment.
