Musco Center for the Arts at Chapman University presents Amy Grant on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Since bursting on the scene as a fresh-faced teenager bringing contemporary Christian music to the forefront of American culture, Nashville native Amy Grant gained a reputation for creating potent songs that examine life’s complexities with an open heart and keen eye. After becoming the first artist in Christian music to obtain a platinum record, Amy Grant became a crossover sensation, and her musical gifts transcended genres boundaries making her a household name. Throughout her career, she earned six GRAMMY Awards and 26 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards as well as three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums, and four gold albums.
