Now through Jan. 5, 2020, the Acacia Quilt Guild will be the exhibiting artist in the City Council Chambers.
The goal of the City of Buena Park’s Exhibiting Artist Program is to nurture working relationships and partnerships between artists, presenters, art organizations and the greater Buena Park community.
The gallery space in the Buena Park City Council Chamber provides artists with the opportunity to create a dialogue between their work and the civic life of our community. From solo and two-person shows to the open-call group shows and partnerships with local arts organizations, the Fine Arts Division ensures that a wide range of voices and perspectives are included in this conversation.
The city welcomes artists both locally and nationally, from diverse cultural backgrounds, and who come to art making in varied ways. The city’s definition of what constitutes art and who is an artist is expansive and inclusive.
Viewing the art is free, and open to all. Exhibitions are held every six to eight weeks at the Buena Park City Hall Council Chamber at 6650 Beach Blvd. For more information, visit BuenaPark.com or contact the Fine Arts Division at 714-562-3868.
