Buena Park resident Eric Don might look familiar. That’s because he recently acted in Prom Night, a 2-minute short film that won the Sprite Film Contest. As a result, the film will be shown during the allotted time for previews prior to start of feature length films at movie theaters across the country.
Don snagged a leading role in the film with an impressive audition at a Los Angeles casting agency.
The project was produced and filmed by graduate students, who shot many of the scenes at UCLA over the course of several days.

Don attends Cal State Fullerton, where he majors in business with a concentration in marketing. He graduated from Savanna High in Anaheim and actually turned 21 yesterday, Oct. 31.
Don started acting at age 2. He has since earned a SAG card as well as representation at a Hollywood talent agency. He owns a long resume that includes both film and television credits. Dons has appeared in guest spots on Malcolm in the Middle, the X-Files and appeared in the film Akeelah and the Bee.
